Perks of being a wallflower.

And I've just completed reading this book.
I must say, I'm not exactly one to read such genre of books.
Like a diary.
But then, I've heard great reviews on this book so I decided to download it into my phone since I couldn't get my hands on it from the library.
Maybe it's just me, but I really don't understand what's so fantastic about the book.
Maybe I lack the depth of knowledge to read this.
It makes me think, but not too much.

But I understand the beauty of the book, I understand how it feels being a wallflower.
I'm not exactly one but I like to people watch and often I would imagine the life of others or the thoughts of others, just like Charlie.
Not exactly a great book for me, don't really understand how it could be a favourite for some.
I guess, it really is individual preference.

I like some of the quotes from the book though.

We only accept the love we think we deserve.

I am very interested and fascinated how everyone loves each other, but no one really likes each other.

My favourite, favourite part.
I don't really know why.

And he would think that the reason the photograph was beautiful was because of how he took it. If I took it, I would know that the only reason it's beautiful is because of Sam.

Time to start on another book, I thought of reading Catcher in the Rye.
But maybe not, since I saw that it's of the same genre as Perks of being a wallflower.

Any nice books to recommend?
One that really makes one think.
