May not be as pretty as the ones I posted before, and in fact maybe far from it.
HAAHAHAH
But at least it tastes good (;
I'm Lao Wang, Lao Wang mai gua zi mai zi kua.
Lemon cupcake with lemon cream cheese frosting.
I'm honestly starting to regret my decision in buying an oven.....before my exams. Look at how distracted I've been when I should be sinking my head into the endless notes and memorising stuff.
As if I've got a lack of distractions in my life.
Red velvet cupcake with cream cheese.
Really means a lot to me whenever my siblings or friends praise my baking and my cupcakes. It's like this is one thing I really like and that I'm good in. Or relatively okay with. Seeing how my siblings devour them so quickly or always asking me to bake more just makes me feel so....proud of myself. HAHAHAHA. Really glad people appreciate what I do. HAHAHA. Wanted to give some to Bel tonight after I baked them but just when I was about to msg her she told me she was leaving for UK already. How sad, and such a bad timing. Oh wells, I've got to wait for her when she's back again! ZZZ!
Oh and my cupcakes may not look as pretty as others but I'm just postponing the decorations part till after exams. I'm going to put heart into decorations! (:
On a complete different note, the other day I was just talking (lecturing) to Ben about how savings are not just for short term years but for our future etc and amidst all seriousness, he started smiling cheekily and said "Baby, does it mean that you want to marry me????"
HAHAHAHAH WTH?!
That's so not the point but he has to pick that out.
And he proceeds to ask me to marry him and kiss me.
ZZZZZZZ.
It's so unfair when he makes me laugh when I'm supposed to be angry at him.
But so cute and sweet of him, no doubt.
Okay and on Saturday we had dinner for Bush's belated birthday at Dempsey's House.
I might as well do a short review on House @Dempsey.
Mich, Ben and I arrived much earlier than the rest would, about 45 minutes before the reservation.
Mich and I.
It's quite a nice place with cute and relaxed settings.
Rather big and area as well!
So it's really good for holding large group dinner!
Plus we chose this place cos we've eaten at Skinny Pizza before, they're affiliated or some sort because they serve whatever Skinny Pizza serves.
Tiffin Punch. $59. It's an alcoholic drink and comes in such cute tins.
It tastes really good actually! But a tad too pricy and it's not much in quantity as compared to a glass of mojito.
Anyway, we just sat and waited for them, stuffing our faces with the absolutely mouth-watering truffle fries.
Best fries I've ever eaten by the way.
Truffle fries.
These fries may not look like much or maybe even look absolutely plain like the fries you just picked it off the freezer from Cold Storage but it smells so damn good before you even eat it!
And the taste of truffle, HOLY. The mushroomy smell is just so great.
Would kill to have this NOW!
Squid ink paella, which I always order whenever I'm at Skinny Pizza.
Black pepper prawn linguine that Ben ordered.
It was really good for him, I tasted it but a tad too peppery for me. The prawn looks great though and Ben looks really happy when he ate it. HAHAHA too bad I can't eat prawns.
Aglio Oglio.
Meatball Neopolitana Pizza
Din't get to try this though cos I was too full for anything else! Plus I had desserts in mind (;
And another pizza but I dint take the picture because the guys devoured it before I could even whip out my phone.
Couldn't find a decent pic of Bush and his friend because Bush's actions are well.....
I already counted down when taking the picture and I still caught his absolutely sincerley shocked face.
Honestly?? Can't he ever take a picture properly??? HAHAHA
And a solo pic for the lonely boy with two boobs, errrr I mean burgers.
Complimentary Strawberry Shortcake from House.
And.....Bush's eyes are at it again. ZZZ
Poor Mich, Ben and my forehead....being cut off );
Alright, pretty much sums up the whole dinner and my weekends/weekdays.
Catching up on Gossip Girl but it's such a bad time.
SIGH.
Goodnight my love, XOXO.
