Phuket

I've been back from Phuket for like almost a month already right? 

HAHAHA
Anyway it's Ben's and my little getaway (:
Gonna blog about it, so be prepared for a really long post!

First day

We reached Phuket at about 9 plus?
It was really early for anything actually! So glad they allowed us to check in that early if not we wouldn't have anywhere to go!
Then we immediately put on our beachwear and explored around the lagoon area.
Ben knows this area rather well so he immediately know where to eat!

Anw really glad we din't stay around Patong Beach area because that area feels so crowded, unsafe and not as peaceful.
We put up at the hotel which is part of the Laguna Resorts.
It feels so much safer because the hotels that line the lagoon are all like 'friends' and if you want to travel from  a beach to another, or from your hotel to the beach/restaurants...we could just take a boat from the jetties!
There's a jetty at the different places/beaches/hotels.
So it's like little Phuket in the Laguna area! I really love the idea, we could just wander around even late at night and not feel unsafe.
Shuttle buses are FOC at the hotels and the system's really great because e.g if we're at Angsana resort and we want to head back to our hotel...we could just inform the reception and they'll call for the shuttle bus!

Really early lunch at Illy's. There weren't anybody at the Shopping Village where we landed at.

Glass noodle salad! Mad love this!!! Ate this daily!!

Tom Yum soup for me!! It was really really salty though! WTH! But when I ate it with rice, it was good!!

Bangtao Beach

The waves were huge!!! Okay not huge,huge but it was way bigger than in Singapore's!!

HAHAAHAH 

And I'm such a coward I dare not walk far out into the beach! 

I walked like 2 feet away from where the waves crash into the beach because each time it crashes, my whole ass gets wet from the crash. ZZZ

I'm not as tall as Ben so he's like totally unaffected by it and he walked so far out it's so scary!!!!!

I'm just a sua gu.
HAHAHA

Just walked around and slept on the beach.

The first day is a free and easy day for us. 

I have trouble sleeping in places that aren't beds, but then the fact I could fall asleep by the beach shows how comfortable it really was!

The breeze, the sound, the view! (: 

Makes me smile at the thought of it! 

Slept at the beach chairs that were provided and it's so clean and pretty! 

Went back to the hotel to sleep again after the nap on the beach.

HAHAHAHA 

We slept till dinner time! 

Dinner at Baan Talay!

Complimentary bread with coconut and spices inside. Dip: Yellow curry.

We were really pleased when they gave us the bread cos...

1. We were starving.

2. It was such a nice gesture, because I assume in Singapore bread is only served in Fine Dining restaurants.

3. IT WAS EXTREMELY DELICIOUS!!!

We contemplated asking for more but feared we looked so kiasu.

But we did anyway and they were happy to give us more! 

HAHAHA 

We had another 2 bread and then our food came.

Morning Glory! 

Fish Salad! It's so refreshing and fresh! Fish fillet is unlike our Fish and Chips that barely has fish meat in it! This fish is really fresh and meaty!

Ben's favourite Mango Sticky Rice!

Rushed back to hotel to catch Masterchef.

Second Day

We took up the snorkeling package at Phi Phi Island! 

Snorkeling's not as nice as I thought.

Really din't appreciate it.

Water's really pretty though! 

Back to Phuket at about 5 plus! 

We bathed and went for dinner at Baan Talay again! 

HAHAHA

Bread again!!! 

We were thinking or whether to ask for more again....and in the end we din't );

But awhile later....a waiter came and he gave us 4 more bread, smiled and said "I know you all love the bread."

HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH

What great service!! Really made us so happy!!!! 

Lol!! 

He served us only like a few times the day before but he knows we loved the bread already!

Anyway to side-track a bit, I met up with Zhe Yang today! 

We had lunch and caught up! 

Awwwww, makes me miss those sailing days actually.

Kinda miss my sailing friends ); 

Okay I only had like a few close sailing friends.

And loads of people who hated on me.

HAHAAHAHA 

Oh, gonna meet Yen Ceen this Wednesday!!

We're such suckers for Cafes! 

HAHAHAHA 

Sadly, we can't go for our adventures around new places cos our time's quite limited on Wed! 

I would really love to go on a holiday with YC! 

I think it'll be fun cos we like the same stuff.

Like going around exploring, travelling.

But she'll say stuff like she's too old! 

SIAO 

She's the same age as me, which makes me old too.

NOOOOOO!!!! 

Oh, I really had some serious thoughts on being an air stewardess after I graduate.

The thought of travelling around the world, (FOR FREE), makes me really excited! 

It's my dream to travel the world.

I mean if you really know me, I really have a serious case of Wanderlust.

But my money doesn't take me far ); 

Being an air stewardess would really fufil my lifetime dream.

Sighhhhh.

But there are lots to consider about.

Actually, only one.

Okay....shall go back to worry about my future and money!! 

URGH! 

It sucks that adults have to pay for bills and stuff! 

Worry about things like houses, cars, family!! 

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I really wish my future life would be very blissful and worry-free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s already needing another holiday );
